347. AWA C55163 communications receiver. This model was introduced about 1950 as part of the Teleradio series, and examples are seldom seen. This set, serial No 87, has been commercially overhauled at one time with the vibrator power supply replaced by an AC mains type and a number of caps replaced. It is in good working order but is missing its steel base, though still displays well. Replacements include period knobs, the monitor speaker and PL259 antenna connection. 915. AVO AC current transformer. This is an accessory to allow an AVO meter to measure AC currents up to 240A. Although designed for the Model 40 range from the 1940s, it could probably be used by any AVO meter. A seldom seen accessory for the AVO collector. $25. (Photo).
