WARS

Waverley Amateur Radio Society

This site was originally developed by Ben Buxton in 1995 but I redesigned it in 1997 to make it easier to read - the black background proved unpopular! Since that time I have maintained it and due to its topical nature requires updates at least monthly. It consists of many pages as well as including a photo gallery of club members and activities.

Australian Naval Amateur Radio Society

ANARS is a small society of amateur radio operators who have served professionally at sea in either merchant or naval ships. As a member of the society, I produced this simple web site giving details of membership, activities and descriptions of some marine radios and a few vessels operating amateur radio.

Collectable Radio Sets

Being a collector of old radio sets, I have found that many types have little information about them of the web. To help remedy this, I have set up this site to cover some of the interesting sets I own and give some information on them to interest collectors.

Radio equipment installed in British heavy bombers of WWII such as the Lancaster is very collectable but little has been published on the web relating to it. As I have considerable documention on this set and its companion transmitter, the T1154, I have added to this web site in the form of photographs and key documents to assist radio collectors with restoration and maintenance of these sets.

Kurrajong Radio Museum

I have set up the site for the Museum which displays a large number of working military radios. Apart from general information about the museum and its location, the web site carries much information about many of the radios from several countries on display. Most of the material is from WWII but there are many later radios as well.

Sydney Harbour Boat Covers

This is a simple one page site for a small one man business making boat covers for the many craft on our harbour.
