012. The club has a quantity of very flexible bare fine braided copper wire about 3mm diameter of the type used for electric motor brushes. This is excellent for making portable or indoor antennas that can easily be coiled up or even tied into knots. A similar commercial product, Flex-weave, is sold in the US by Davis RF. Our price is $0.50 per metre and should be collected from the club on one of our meeting days as reasonable quantities are heavy to post.

148. Transmitting Valves/Tubes. Some of these tubes have had only the heaters checked but have not otherwise been tested due to lack of facilities for some TX types.
